Community Impact Day in Holland

June 10, 2024

In an inspiring display of community solidarity, nearly 1,500 volunteers gathered for “Community Impact Day” in Holland, Michigan. This significant event, organized by The Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce, saw participants dispersing throughout West Michigan to support local nonprofits and municipalities with essential tasks that often exceed their usual resource capabilities.

One standout effort took place at Kollen Park in Holland, where a dedicated team of FNBM volunteers spent their afternoon painting railings. This seemingly small but impactful act of service is a prime example of the difference that organized volunteerism can make in maintaining and beautifying community spaces.
