First National Bank of Michigan Staff Volunteers with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity
August 19, 2024
In August, First National Bank of Michigan partnered with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity to lend a helping hand to a family in need of a safe and affordable home. The FNBM team spent an afternoon volunteering on a build site, working together to lay down the subflooring for a future homeowner. Thank you for volunteering Greg Accardo, Jesse Prins, Lisa Kosak, and Connie Martz!
This hands-on experience gave the staff an opportunity to contribute to a cause that provides more than just a house—it provides stability and consistency for children and families. Affordable homeownership is a cornerstone of strong, vibrant communities, offering families the security of a stable living environment and the opportunity to thrive.
Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to making homeownership accessible to everyone, and partnerships with community-focused organizations like First National Bank of Michigan are crucial to making that vision a reality. By coming together, the staff not only supported a local family but also reinforced the bank’s commitment to creating lasting positive change in the community.
With each floorboard laid, the volunteers played a role in building a brighter future for the new homeowner, demonstrating the power of collaboration and service.
