First National Bank of Michigan Volunteers Support Kids’ Food Basket in Holland
July 17, 2025
Team members from First National Bank of Michigan recently volunteered their time and energy at Kids’ Food Basket in Holland, MI, packing nourishing snack bags for local schoolchildren. The effort was part of our continued commitment to serving the communities where we live and work.
Volunteers rolled up their sleeves and worked together to assemble hundreds of snack bags filled with healthy, kid-friendly items. These bags are distributed to children in the area who may not always have access to evening meals at home, helping to bridge the nutrition gap and support student success.
“It’s a simple act with a big impact,” said one FNBM volunteer. “We’re proud to be part of something that directly supports kids and families in our community.” FNBM volunteers included Kathy Jipping, Naomi Kirvan, Kelsey Baily, Sally Forslund, Dustin Hopkins, Chris Williams, Josh Schaendorf, Jesse Prins, Greg Accardo, Nickie Peters, Emily Fordell, and Laura Reyna.
Kids’ Food Basket works every day to ensure children have the nourishment they need to learn and grow. First National Bank of Michigan is honored to support their mission and encourages others to get involved with this impactful organization.
Thank you to the Kids’ Food Basket team for welcoming us and for everything you do for West Michigan families!
