Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS Hosts “Realtor Day” with Support from First National Bank of Michigan
June 3, 2024
The Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS® (GKAR) recently celebrated “Realtor Day,” an event dedicated to supporting local realtors in their ongoing professional development. This initiative underscores GKAR’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of expertise, education, and service among its members, ensuring that both home buyers and sellers in the greater Kalamazoo area receive top-tier support and guidance.
A highlight of this year’s Realtor Day was the backing provided by First National Bank of Michigan (FNBM). Recognizing the pivotal role that realtors play in the local community, FNBM stepped in to support the continuing education of 250 GKAR REALTOR® members. This sponsorship is part of FNBM’s broader commitment to fostering community development and economic growth by investing in the professional excellence of those who facilitate homeownership—a cornerstone of a thriving community.
“Realtor Day” featured a series of workshops and educational sessions tailored to the evolving needs of real estate professionals. Topics ranged from the latest market trends and regulatory updates to advanced negotiation techniques and customer service strategies. By equipping realtors with cutting-edge knowledge and skills, GKAR and FNBM aim to enhance the quality of service provided to clients throughout the home buying and selling process.
“We are proud to support the continuing education of our local realtors,” said FNBM Residential Lending specialist Sara Amy. “By investing in their professional growth, we are not only supporting the real estate community but also contributing to the overall well-being and development of greater Kalamazoo. Well-informed and well-prepared realtors are essential for a healthy real estate market and, by extension, a robust local economy.”
