Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes
April 22, 2024
In a powerful display of community spirit, members of FNBM united with Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes (KLF) to take a stand against hunger. Their collaborative effort resulted in the packaging of an impressive 750 boxes brimming with fresh fruits and vegetables. These nutritious provisions are destined to reach the hands and hearts of individuals and families across Kalamazoo County and its surrounding areas.
The impact of this initiative extends far beyond the numbers. It represents a collective commitment to alleviating food insecurity and fostering a sense of solidarity within the community. Each box packed is a symbol of hope and support for those facing challenging circumstances. FNBM team members Chris Mars, Kim Melvin, Kelsey Bailey, Marcus Kole, Sara Amy, Deb Lang, and Olivia Urwiller enjoyed their time volunteering for KLF.
Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes, renowned as the largest food assistance organization in Kalamazoo County, operates with a steadfast dedication to serving those in need. To learn more about Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes or to get involved in helping this fight visit their website at https://kzoolf.org/
