Credit Analyst
Position Summary
Under limited supervision, the Credit Analyst will review and analyze financial statements and perform credit analysis for commercial lenders in a timely and accurate manner. They will assist the department in performing projects aimed at identifying and limiting credit risks within the commercial loan portfolio.
Essential Functions
- Prepares loan applications for loan committee(s).
- Reviews, spreads, and analyzes financial information for borrowers and prospects.
- Monitors outstanding financial information and loan documentation.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Shows initiative and demonstrates a willingness to take ownership and drives improvements independently.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to the Bank’s needs, customer and employee goodwill, and the public image.

Education & Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline with a minimum of 2 accounting courses is required. Relevant experience may also be considered.
- Prior banking experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate equipment, and reach with hands and arms.

- Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
