HOLLAND, MI – First National Bank of Michigan (FNBM) is proud to announce it awarded $75,000 in Community Multiplier grant funds to Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity via the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis’ Community Multiplier – Member Match program.
Community Multiplier – Member Match is a matching grant program available to financial institution members of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis). The program offers grants of up to $60,000 each with a minimum 25% matching commitment from the member financial institution to target specific affordable housing initiatives.
“As a community bank, we believe our role extends beyond providing financial services—we have a responsibility to invest in the communities we serve and help create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive,” said Greg Accardo, Executive Vice President, First National Bank of Michigan. “We are proud to partner with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity and support its efforts to expand access to safe, affordable housing and help local families achieve greater housing stability. This grant is a meaningful investment in the Holland community and reflects our commitment to supporting organizations that are making a lasting difference.”
The grant will support Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity’s Home Ownership and Home Repair Services, helping local families access safe, affordable housing and make critical improvements to their homes. Through these programs, Lakeshore Habitat works with families to address housing needs and create greater stability for homeowners in the communities it serves. FNBM’s support will help advance these efforts and address the ongoing need for affordable housing throughout the Holland area.
