First National Bank of Michigan Announces Senior Vice President Promotions

First National Bank of Michigan (FNBM) announces promotions of Greg Accardo, Patty Barnas, Jennifer Nemecek, and Shaunna Padgett to Senior Vice Presidents.
“FNBM Board of Directors recently approved the promotions of Greg, Patty, Jennifer, and Shaunna during the banks March board meeting”, said First National Bank of Michigan President and CEO Daniel Bitzer. “Each of these individuals has contributed to the success of our Bank, these promotions are well deserved.”
Greg Accardo joined FNBM as the Holland Market President in 2016. Greg has more than 30 years experience and leadership within the banking industry. He is a graduate of Ferris State University and Leadership Holland and previously served as a board member of Heritage Homes, Incorporated. Greg is a current board member of Community Action House, executive board member of Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, and board member for Hope College’s TRIO Upward Bound program.
Patty Barnas joined FNBM as Market President in Lansing in 2017. Patty has 40 years of banking experience, specializing in the healthcare and non-profit sectors. She is a graduate of Spring Arbor University. Patty serves as a board member of the Sparrow Foundation, is incoming vice-chair of the Sparrow Hospital board of directors, and board member of the Clinton County Catalyst. Patty is active with Women Working Wonders, a committee of the Sparrow Foundation.
Jennifer Nemecek joined First National Bank of Michigan in 2015 with over 27 years of industry experience. Jennifer leads the Treasury Management and Deposit Operations areas of the bank. She has worked in the West Michigan market her entire career assisting both commercial and municipal customers with their credit and treasury management needs. Jennifer is a graduate of Western Michigan University and is Treasurer of the board for Residential Opportunities Incorporated.
Shaunna Padgett, First National Bank of Michigan Strategic and Operating Manager, has been with the Bank since 2010. Shaunna began her career at FNBM as a Personal Banker and has been promoted throughout her 11-year career to the position she holds today. In 2020 Shaunna was named a 40 Under 40 Emerging Community Bank Leader by Independent Bankers of America and was selected by The Community Bankers of Michigan as a 2020 Rising Star. Shaunna is a graduate of Western Michigan University and is a member of the Downtown Kalamazoo Rotary.
