First National Bank of Michigan Executive Vice President & COO, Cindy Kole Named a Notable Women in Banking Award Honoree by Crains

KALAMAZOO, MI- First National Bank of Michigan is pleased to announce Cindy Kole, Executive Vice President & COO, was recently named a 2021 Notable Women in Banking award honoree by Crains. The award celebrates Michigan women banking executives who make a significant impact within their organization and the communities where they live and work.

“I am proud to congratulate First National Bank of Michigan’s very own Cindy Kole, and all the 2021 Notable Women in Banking,” stated First National Bank of Michigan President & CEO, Daniel Bitzer. “During her nearly five years at FNBM, she has helped oversee the growth, efficiencies, and success of the Bank, we are thrilled to celebrate her.”

Cindy represents First National Bank of Michigan serving on several boards and committees of various community organizations. She has devoted her career to banking in West Michigan for over 30 years and serves as a mentor to the next generation of women in banking. The Board of Directors of FNBM promoted Cindy to Executive Vice President in 2020, following her accomplishments as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. Her experience in banking includes wealth management, private banking, human resources, retail banking, and executive leadership.
