Mike Hollander Named First National Bank of Michigan Grand Rapids Market President

GRAND RAPIDS, MI-First National Bank of Michigan (FNBM) today announced Mike Hollander, a proven commercial banking leader, has been appointed by the Banks Board of Directors as Market President of their Grand Rapids Bank. As Market President, Hollander will oversee the Banks growth and operations in that market.

Hollander has over 18 years experience in banking with 17 years specific to commercial banking. Prior to joining FNBM, Hollander was with Fifth Third Bank and most recently held the Michigan Market Leader position at Commerce Bank in Grand Rapids. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Magna Cum Laude from Western Michigan University, and Master of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University.

Mike has been ingrained in commercial banking for nearly his entire career, and his unique insights and experience will provide additional leadership and focus. The bank has experienced constant growth and with our expansion into other Michigan markets, Jefra Groendyk, Executive Vice President who previously held the position of Grand Rapids Market President in addition to Senior Lender will continue to focus her efforts on leading the commercial banking activities in all of FNBMs markets. Hollander will report directly to Groendyk”.

In addition to his banking career, Hollander remains engaged in the community. Currently, he serves on the Finance Committee for the Heart of West Michigan United Way, as Trustee and Treasurer for The Potters House Foundation, and as a board member at Ada Christian School.
