FNBM Provides Measures to Alleviate the Impact of COVID-19

KALAMAZOO, MI, April 13, 2020 Bank President and CEO, Daniel E. Bitzer announced that First National Bank of Michigan (FNBM) has processed 374 loans through the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) totaling over $99 million dollars. “Congressman Fred Upton’s Office has been extremely instrumental in helping our Bank deliver the Cares Act as intended,” commented Bitzer.
Bitzer added, “Closing and funding started Friday, April 10, 2020 and will continue for 10 days, delivering much needed funds to our communities. We are proud to support our customers through this process. As a local community bank, we are committed to our customers and the communities we serve. Our FNBM employee Heroes, are considered essential workers and we thank them for their dedication and loyalty to FNBM and our customers.”
